I am new to blogger and am learning to navigate through this useful tool. I would say it is somewhat, similar tool as face book, "except with a newer face." Once I become more familiar with this tool, it would be all a piece of cake!
Personally, I'm not much into communicating through social media. Although, realizing that social media as many other social tools are and continue to be a great source to staying connected and up to date w/ what goes on in this digitally thriving world.
Blogger may have been around for much long before i learned about it. But i think it will quickly grow w/me as we use it through out our new IS101 course.
"A newer face", I like that analogy :-) Yes, I think it'll grow on you as you sail through the IS101-3017 course ^_^
ReplyDeleteThank You! I am glad to have learned about this, Thank you for guiding me through the start of it. :)
DeleteThat's the spirit!
ReplyDeleteHello, Sharnae Grant. It's always nicer to come together in good spirits! Thanks for following through w/me, I appreciate your comment. :)
DeleteAwww Liz you are awesome! I'm glad we can come together in good spirits too. Thanks for replying
ReplyDeleteI am not big with social media so this blogger thing is very new to me too. I hardly go on Facebook and when I do it is through the phone app so its somewhat different, but it will be fun and interesting to learn more about this new world(this is how I see it since I am not so much into social media).
ReplyDeleteHello, Xiomara Torres. Thank You for the Post, and please excuse my delayed response. It's great to find myself surrounded by a class eager to learn, and open minded to learning new things. :)
DeleteHow do you folks have so much to say? I think i'll go grab another cup of coffee.
ReplyDeleteHello, Rich! Please Excuse the delayed response. I figured you could use a longer coffee break! To get you up to speed w/ what your fellow blog friends have to say. It may just be my Coffee TALKING !!! :P
DeleteI use social media, but this is my first time using blogger seems fun, and I can't wait to see what's in the minds of my fellow classmates.
ReplyDeleteHello, Gerald Riley! Only a day late in responding. I agree Blogger seems both fun and new. It's funny, It kinda feels like this new tool may just take first preference over fB. :/ :)
DeleteI agree! I don't go on social media platforms often, but I am finding that they are becoming very important to being successful in todays environment!
ReplyDeleteYes, Thank You Mary! I too agree, Technology has provided us with all the tools&resources necessary to thrive and become successful. It's all at our fingertips! Only a matter of learning to use productively.
DeleteI didn't even know Blogger existed ^.^
ReplyDeleteIt's almost as if were kept secret. Well, cool stuff!!...Now we know. "Kinda makes me want to keep it secret." of course, from those who don't know of it. 8)
DeleteWell done, we are all in this together. It's also my first time and I confess I don't really like sharing my life into social media. But it's been fun to learn and follow all of you!
ReplyDeleteYes we are, All in it to WIN IT!! FUN to meet you too.:D
DeleteI agree, I have never done this before either.
ReplyDeleteNow we can get creative with it. It seems like a pretty simple tool to play around with.
DeleteBlogging seems to be more of a professional style of posting. But I'd say its more similar to MySpace than Facebook.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you taking a step out of your comfort zone with this whole social media thing.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! I try not to indulge in social media too much, but it is such a wonderful tool, I will adapt.
ReplyDeleteI never had a blogger account until I took this course. I believe social media is a powerful tool because it helps us stay connected.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! In all honesty, this is a really good tool to stay connected with everyone (:
ReplyDeleteSocial media and avenues like these are great way to stay connected but as you, I'm not that good at it.
ReplyDeletePretty soon using Blogger will be as easy as pie.
ReplyDeleteI was taken when we were asked to do a blog as well. I thought, "I barely keep up with my Facebook."
