Hello Again, Everyone!!

If there's anyone else still out there...I would like to share and announce that i have FINALLY! passed my last IC3 exam (Key Applications). It may have been a long time after you've all completed yours. But as it's said, "Best, late than never!" A big shout out to all of you, who helped motivate me to continue and do better.  Hope you are all doing well, keeping it cool and enjoying this very hot summer. I'm still glad to have had you all as my classmates and might just see you around again at CSN . Also, an added Big THANK YOU to the two who  helped me w/vouchers.  And a special friend, who stood along side and  helped encourage me throughout tough times when i just wasn't feeling it. Couldn't of  done it with out you guys!!!   Last but not least, to the best example who genuinely made it a class to remember! Your experience,dedication unique way of instructing is visible through each and every of your students, and clearly wouldn't go unnoticed.

Staying Alive!

Hello everyone, hope everyone is doing well, it's been a couple weeks since my last blog. As usual, life's way of testing my limits continues... As i continue to make most to keep afloat. I believe life's purpose for testing my limits is to break boundaries and allow me to strengthen my faith as i keep swimming to stay afloat. Like my favorite fish once said, "Just Keep Swimming..." And I still hold on to my idea of Persevering.

This heat seems too hot to handle.

Hello my IS101 peeps! It is dangerously hot out there my friends. This dessert temperature is already feeling more like.  Death Valley. I don't see how anyone could possibly acclimate to this tripple  digit heat, As much as i'd like to avoid getting out to this inferno of a heat, So stay cool and be safe out there everyone.

Summer Time in full swing!

I hope this summer is treating everyone well. My summer has officially started with my kido's finally being out for summer break. Yeterday, was nice to have packed their last lunch pack and it was even nicer to know i've  made my last M-F  daily round drive for school drop off. We've finally made it through another school year. Lots of stuff to plan for to get us all through the summer.  Stay safe and cool everyone!

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Vegas has sure brought on the heat!  Hope you guys are playing  it safe and keepin' it chill.  As i will continue to post and blog over the summer. Serves for good practice, and good way to stay connected with whom ever else wants to continue with Blogger. Mr. Wu also suggested i continue with Blogger since i'm in for an extended stay in IS101-3017. A Journey to Remember...

Boy! and what a journey it's been. Only to know, it's only begun. This is only my beginning towards a journey into this world of  digital technicality. Although it has been a journey of complexities, trials and errors it is a door i chose to open to help me learn and prepare for what this new journey has to offer. In this journey, I WISH YOU ALL the BEST!! It was great having you as my classmates.

Arrrgh...  Ahoy!!! To Captain Wu and my fellow pirate classmates, hope every one's  had a wonderful Friday! I missed you all in class this evening and could only imagine how much more I've missed out of the class today. Without assuming anyone was wondering, Lol!   Just thought I'd keep ya pirates updated anyway, and let you know this pirate is OK.  Just ran into a few high ocean tides and made it out alive as i have gripped  n' held somewhat control over the steer and now trying to navigate my way through this minor ship wreck,  I hope to meet  ye pirates at Captain Wu's pirate's landing next Friday to help wrap this ship up and sail it off to it's mother ship. Good night and great weekend class!  :P

Mission Impossible

As we are closely approaching the end of this course i find myself in a time crunch attempting to make most possible of what feels to be impossible. At this point i may feel overwhelmed with pursuing the possibilities and defying the odds. But choose continue to do my best to do so.

I wish my class the best in accomplishing this mission.

NOt A very Good Friday!

I have decided to miss class tonight, This pounding headache just won't let me be. I feel as if as if i have been trampled by a stampede of bulls. My face it feels as if i dove face first into a concrete floor or wall. My teeth feel like someones' drilling right through them. Darn Sinus infection! I hope you guys had a better evening."/.

It's Good Friday!

T.G.I.F.!  I can call it an official Friday, once  my head hits my pillow and fall into sleep mode.  It will hopefully allow me to get into Function mode. This weekend is looking busy already, between  Easter Sunday and preparing to send kids back to school after their spring break. Finding the perfect balance has been a juggle. In the midst of it all i am making every effort to enjoy those little things that matter most. My kids are growing up fast, things are changing before my eyes and time doesn't seem to stand still.

Packets of Informative Learning!

I can't help but notice, how close we are to the end of this course! Only five class sessions remaining. Backtracking a few months before i decided i would jump on to IS101. I figured it would only be of best interest to sign up since, i still had a little of what i learned in CIT 95 temporarily stored in memory.

Once spring registration came through, i recall feeling a little nervous as i knew this course would require the extra time and effort to compromise. Eventually, spring semester rolled in. Friday January, 20th 5:59 pm. time to report to day one of IS101 class session.

It was cool to find how many students were present to experience the whole scenario.
Much more interesting, was Wu's attention to every detail. "First Impressions"..."he may have even noticed what color socks you wore that day!" It was cool to find that students were quickly to build a sense of camaraderie.

Our class had the chance to relate and gain a better familiarity through Blogger. Throughout the course, I quickly realized it would take some adaptation and figuring out a balance between life and course requirements. Overall, it's been a whirlwind of new challenges. But at this point i am relieved to say that throughout the experience we have come a ways from the first day.

Somedays, having felt overwhelmed with Mr. Wu's  informational over-load. Much like the packet switching. The Idea was focused towards improvement.  I think we've been provided with the necessary packets of informative learning to later apply towards my next objective.

After this course i hope to polish up on each concept and lookforward to confidently move forward towards other challenges. So glad, to know we are getting closer to end of the tunnel. :)

Spring without a break!

Well, spring has sure sprung!!! Except i feel  i may have missed the "break"part of  our spring-break. CSN is already back in session, after what felt like a super short no- breaker. Or maybe, Spring- forward just sprung through too early, at a time when i felt like I could instead, spring"backwards" n' fall into days sleep-comma.  If i could, i'd demand for a do-over, second break! Especially, after having to wake up early am for work after driving the little monsters to school since Nevada School District decides they would spring into their break at a time when according to our course syllabus,seems less like a Spring Break! Ok enough. of my spring-break rant. I should be thankful instead, I hope you guys all enjoyed Spring-break, :)

The Prevalence of Blogging

How prevalent is blogging?

Because i thought this question would be relevant with all the current blogging we've been doing in class.

After sharing with Mr. Wu of a recent thought, related to blogging he was kind to suggest the term "prevalent," a new term for me. Which i think it might make sense to you as i articulate both my thought and ideas about blogging. 

After reading a few articles relating to this topic, i'm becoming more aware of the prevalence of blogging.

It's no doubt, that these resourceful tools such as, blogging along with the use of other social media and networking tools have significantly impacted our way of communicating and thriving in this digitally functioning generation.

What i found most interesting, is how human and social behavior impacts the prevalence of blogging.
I think it has not only become a resourseful social tool, it's also evolved into a cultural trend causing a trending effect amongst different groups of  bloggers.

I will not give you all the interesting facts. But, if you are curious to learn alittle more about blogging, and it's prevalenting trends, i am certain you'll find learning about it just as interesting.

Beacause i think human and their behaviors, all in a NUt- case shell can be a pretty darn interesting subject alone!  Hope you found this as interesting:P.

My Academic Goal

I chose the Associate of Science (AS) degree because it will allow me to take necessary core credits to help meet with requirements in the core subjects of English, Math, Science and other additional courses . My current plan is to focus on these required courses, as each of these courses will also transfer to a four year college or university allowing me to  pursue and complete my education in my desired field of health and medicine. My projected goal for graduation would be December,2019 .  Another advantage, in having earned an Associate of Science degree is that before getting to a four year university, I would just have 2 years left to complete in my field study. :)

Where Has Time Gone???

Time sure is precious.  Lately, it seems like there just aren't enough hours in a day! It even takes time to make time. Sometimes, life itself requires so much of your time letting you fall short of  time.  At the end of the day it's what you did /how your time was invested in a day. Only to later question where that time has gone???

Perserverence

It's a noun....Defined to be a state of mind, It's a moment of picking, and kicking that dirt off your shoe to focus on the challenges we are faced and those obstacles that we cross those boundaries we thought we couldn't cross... I look at it as a state of recognizing your GROWTH.

Where's Sunday???

Is Sunday Really Over???   Sunday-Fun Day!, and  Monday,...A not so very Fun day!. If  Everyday were like Saturday, Well it wouldn't be too fair for Friday!!  "It all began with a Monday...." Who thought,..."It would be a good idea to drag along Tuesday into work.  Shortly after, a Wednesday tagged along only to bring an extra work load. After, a thumping Thursday stood and said,
"someone needs to put a foot down in here, to clear this extra load of work!" When finally, Fast-Friday came through, and helped Finish the Job! All in time, before a very chill Saturday came through as he sat there waiting for his beautiful sunny Sunday.

 Maybe we'll just have to let the story begin with Monday .... Until chill Saturday and fun day, Sunday!

New to Course & New to Blogger!

I am  new to blogger and am learning to navigate through this useful tool.  I would say it is somewhat, similar tool as face book, "except with a newer face." Once I  become more familiar with this tool, it would be all a  piece of cake!

Personally, I'm not much into communicating through social media. Although,  realizing that social media as many other social tools are and continue to be a great source to staying connected and up to date w/ what goes on in this digitally thriving world.  

 Blogger may have been around for much long before i learned about it. But i think it will quickly grow w/me as we use it through out our new IS101 course.
